MY CLAY MUG

The oldest known cup, which was made of bone, is about 12 thousand years old, and the clay one, which was found in Greece, is about 7 thousand years old. Since ancient times, they have changed a lot, improved, people learned to make them strong, used all their knowledge in decorating, and when glass appeared, they learned how to glaze dishes. You will learn how the use of dishes in the household has changed over the centuries. Here you will be able to touch archaic methods of firing: sourdough pottery and black pottery. In the ceramics workshop, you will learn the different ways to make a cup and what clay can be used to make them. You will also learn how ceramics are decorated. During education, everyone will create their own cup decorations. We draw on the already made cup with overglaze paint. After the education, you can take the cups home.
