The interest in textiles originated along with Ž. Akstinienė’s history studies, engagement in ethnoculture and ethnography. Interpretations of patterns and colors from different regions prevail in her knitwear. Since 2017, the artist has been participating in joint exhibitions in Lithuania and presenting her works at fairs. Since 2020, she has been involved in organizing educational activities in Druskininkai municipality during various festivals and holidays.
