The biggest influence on the choice of creative activity was made by the artist’s father, who hindered Rūta from quitting her art studies. She graduated from Vilnius J. Vienožinskis Art School, the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art. The artist studied interactive design, earned a bachelor’s degree in audiovisual art and acquired a teacher’s qualification. She defended her master thesis in art education. Foreign artists helped R. Burbulė deepening her knowledge of silk painting. Since 2013, she has been organizing solo exhibitions, and since 2014 - participating in joint exhibitions. In 2015, she became the member of the Silk Painting Association. Since 2016, the artist annually presents collections of silk painted dresses throughout Lithuania. During educations and trainings, Rūta shares her creative experience, helps participants to create exceptional works of silk painting.
