Creative works in the field of weaving was given a boost by the artist’s family (her grandmother and mother were weavers) and attending various folk art exhibitions. She learned the weaving craft both from a master of traditional crafts and independently. Weaving started with runners, later on, she tried out more complex weaves - towels, table-napkins. The artist uses ancient, authentic 100-year-old loom. L. Griškevičienė participates in joint exhibitions since 2018, organizes weaving educational activities, during which participants are introduced to various weaving techniques, learn the basics of weaving.
She is the member of the Dzūkija Branch of the Lithuanian Folk Artists’ Union.
