„PARALLEL WORLDS“
This exhibition by the sculptor Anna Voloshko (Ukraine) is an attempt to recreate the aesthetics, philosophy, inner world of man and the Universe surrounding him through the prism of his vision. The works exhibited at the exhibition are performed by the author in a new form of creative expression - a sculpture made of clay material. Although it is not the material in which the artist is accustomed to fully embody her ideas, the sculptures allow us to recognize undoubted professionalism and value. Such complex materials as bronze, marble are subject to the sculptor's mastery ussually, and the scale of the works includes creative implementations from chamber to impressively monumental. When the war in Ukraine started, Anna had to leave Kyiv and found a temporary home here in Druskininkai.
We are sincerely happy to see the spirit of Anna's creativity unbreakable by the circumstances at the Craft Center "Menų kalvė".

ANNA VOLOSHKO
Anna was born in 1974. Kyiv, Ukraine. She is a professional expert in traditional and contemporary sculpture, creating high quality representational works from initial design to full execution. Anna is a free spirited artist. in 1998 studied sculpture at the Kyiv National Academy of Art and Architecture. Peculiar and unique bronze sculptures by Anna Voloshko lift the heart and touch the soul. Anna's works are characterized by an expressive sense of personality and animation. The artist's works have a wonderful sense of antiquity, as if they captured the charm of past eras and stories frozen in time. Anna works with both relief and round sculpture. The sculptures created by her decorate private and public spaces, integrate into project ideas, the collections are in demand both in her country and internationally. The geography of exhibitions includes Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Switzerland and the United States of America.
